I'm running 4.2-stable on a Supermicro PIIIDRE with good success.
-j4 buildworld in 28 min with 2 1GHz cpu's and 2 10,000 rpm scsi
drives.

Does anyone know if there is support for the onboard
AC'97 sound in the Intel 82801AA? I got from somewhere that
it has a CS4299 codec, which does not seem to be among the
chips that csa.c supports. (Devices pcm and csa are in the
kernel config.)

Also, I'm running healthd through the smbus, but get only a
chipset temp, not the two cpu temps. Does anyone have a
magic healthd.conf that works with this motherboard? If not
I guess I'll plow through the Winbond datasheet and report
results.

Finally, can anyone point me to a reference for the unknown
PNP devices? I have the BIOS set for "plug&play os" - is
that right? There are no ISA slots, and only a 39160 in
the PCI slots, with an ATI Radeon in the AGP.

Thanks,
Barney Wolff
