I looked at the SNAP directory

ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/2.2-961014-SNAP/
and see over 70 files on /bin, and a few on /floppies, is
it one of the latter you are suggesting I try for a test?
 (boot or boot4?).
