Hi,
We have two customers who are experiencing floppy disk controller problems
on their Compaq DL350 (FreeBSD-4.4 Release) and DL360 (FreeBSD-4.5 Release)
servers. Any attempt to access the floppy drive results in the following error
messages (eg. tar cvf /dev/fd0 somefile):

Syslog gives up logging these messages and the machine becomes quite
unresponsive on the console.
