The client is a SuSE 8.2 box copying data from a DVDRAM to the 5.3RC1 NFS server using UDP. The server is a slow machine (Celeron 266), so this problem may not show up on more current hardware. dmesg.boot: Copyright (c) 1992-2004 The FreeBSD Project.
