This is not INVARIANTS being busted.

INVARIANTS causes the KASSERT in vfs_bio.c not to be a no-op.
Cause for this panic was missing locking in ata-raid.c's code for the struct
buf.

Soren committed a fix, please update your tree and rebuild the kernel.
