Am running SNAP 951104 with a previous binary set. Having a problem with IJPPP to a Livingston Portmaster at work, using Multitech 28.8 at 38400 bps on my end, US Robotics Courier 28.8 at 115200 on the other end. Problem: I was building a cross-compiler for FreeBSD to BSD/OS last night and instead of ncftp'ing my file over, I decided to rcp includes.tar.gz sierra:gcc-2.7.0/. It starts the transfer (I see the rx/tx lights flash) and then bombs, leaving me still online - but the ppp process is gone. Looking at /var/log/ppp.log, I see: 11-12 05:36:53 [3872] LCP: Received Echo Reply (119) state = Opend (9) 11-12 05:39:53 [3872] ** Too many ECHO packets are lost. ** 11-12 05:39:53 [3872] LCP: LayerDown 11-12 05:39:53 [3872] OsLinkdown: 205.199.144.22 11-12 05:39:53 [3872] Phase: Terminate 11-12 05:39:53 [3872] LCP: SendTerminateReq. 11-12 05:39:53 [3872] LCP: state change Opend --> Closing 11-12 05:39:55 [3872] PPP Terminated. Something looks weird there, maybe the connection is so bogged that PPP echo packets dont return in time? Any ideas?
