NVidia drivers had been recently updated (ports 374695) to address CVE-2014-8298 vulnerability, but they very likely include other fixes as well. Would you be willing to try the latest version (unless you already do so)? Similar crash was reported earlier: https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=195806 Also on FreeBSD-10/amd64.
