What I was meaning to say was "why don't people use LATEST_LINK instead 
of NO_LATEST_LINK?"  Well maybe that is a question for the openoffice 
porters.  But maybe a question for ports - why don't we get rid of the 
NO_LATEST_LINK option, thus forcing people to use LATEST_LINK?
