This is the logical next version for users of both rdiff-backup and rdiff-backup-devel. This is a little heads up to let you know what will be happening shortly. * rdiff-backup will be updated to 1.0.1. * rdiff-backup-devel will be removed because it is no longer developed, and an entry added to MOVED to migrate those users to rdiff-backup. * an entry will be added to UPDATING to explain that users of rdiff-backup will need to re-do the initial seed if they decide to update to version 1.0.1.
