This looks like the problem I reported a week or two ago(see "current
cardbus weirdness").  In my case
neither or the two cardbus cards I have available worked, both gave the
same message.  5.1 and 5.2.1 work fine but not -current.  The two cards I
tried were a 3com wireless card(unsupported but I wanted to try ndis)
and a realtek 8180 wireless card(same thing, unsupported natively).
