The port for freeWAIS-0.3 does not seem to compile/install completly, and I don't see a package for it. What seems to be missing most is the man pages, the programs seem to work, but a perl script I found once for my web pages does not seem to interface very well. I don't even see support for it at CNDIR's web page. Wayne
