X-Mailer: VM 6.96 under 21.1 (patch 14) "Cuyahoga Valley" XEmacs Lucid Sender: owner-freebsd-stable@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk List-ID: List-Archive: (Web Archive) List-Help: (List Instructions) List-Subscribe: List-Unsubscribe: X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG I don't know how to explain this, but I swapped a Athlon 750 for an Athlon 1.3 (new motherboard and all). More details to follow, obviously, but syslogd panics the machine. If I put enable_syslogd="NO" in rc.conf, the machine runs normally (even running X and a bunch of applications). Any ideas?
