It's dhclient, not ppp that's modding the file. Adding this to your
dhclient.conf file will fix the problem

interface dc0 {
prepend domain-name-servers 192.168.0.10;
request subnet-mask, broadcast-address, routers, domain-name-servers;
}

you will need to change the interface name and provide the actual dns server
address to match your configuration
