Don't worry I don't use it a production server ;) For the kernel configuration you can even optimize the compilation for such processors (5.x only) : options CPU_ATHLON_SSE_HACK options CPU_ENABLE_SSE and also a special cpu type in the make.conf /CPUTYPE?=athlon-xp/ I would think that the second one (CPUTYPE) is more critical than the first set of options (more multimedia oriented).
