One additional modification to the port installation that I would like to
propose, however, is:

1) after creating a populating "/usr/local/share/secpanel/", create an
additional file in that directory named "default.config" which is a modified
copy of the "default.config.sample" (which was a good idea by the way) file
with the

       set configs(termver) "Xterm"

entry set to

        set configs(termver) "<make terminal choice>"

2) add "pkg-message" to let installing user know to

  a) create a "~/.secpanel" directory
  b) copy the "/usr/local/share/secpanel/default.config" file to this new
directory as "config"

This then would give installing user a ready-to-use instantiation of secpan=
el.
