You could let the environmental variable PACKAGESITE point at
the correct FreeBSD version number, e. g. 

ftp://ftp-archive.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD-Archive/ports/i386/packages-6.2-release/

so the pkg_add -r command would this location instead of the
"Latest" location.
