Hi, I'm updating FreeBSD 4.4-RELEASE to -STABLE on a Pentium III 866Mhz system with 1GB of RAM and RAID-5 storage via an Adaptec 2400A controller (4 x 40GB Maxtor HDD). Filesystems /, /var, and /usr are all softupdates-enabled.
