how does one play around with the open source code for
freebsd?
if i modify a source file,do i need to recompile the
whole kernel again?
suppose i am working with some networking files and
make some small changes.after making the change i view
the result and then make modifications again.do i have
to recompile the kernel at each step?isnt there some
way to just recompile just the directory i am working
on or better just the file and its dependents?
