If I don't do that, any time a station goes into PS mode, any frames already queued to the hardware will be dropped and performance will greatly suffer. As for the BAW tracking, there are also some bugs that have popped up in my testing. I'm using an AR9280 in my EEEPC as the STA and an AR9160 on a MIPS routerstation pro board as the hostap. I'll let you know when I've found/fixed those. There are other things I likely need to merge in now that the hardware is pushing ~ 18,000 pps. There's some workarounds for buffer management and some occasional status descriptor corruption which I'm going to need to sort out. I still haven't merged in the AR5416 workarounds yet though.
