I want a fair selection of programs to get started with. I've downloaded the entire packages2.1.5 directory structure and added it to c:\freebsd\packages\........ Is this right. The installation procedure can't find the packages, it does find the index file however. Should i be using packages or ports and what directory structure should I put in place. (i've read the install.txt and other files) Any help would be very appreciated. :-) Regards Michael van Doren
