Just installed 4.3 after using 2.8 for many years.

My problem is that my modem on com3 fails to appear.
I'm assuming that I need to build a kernel with the irq for the modem on
com 3 enabled.
However when I check the irq for the modem after booting windows 2000 it
shows up as being irq 38.
I don't think this is a good irq but don't understand why w2k is telling me
this.

Any help would be appreciated.

Jeff
