 From the FreeBSD faq:

"It is our duty to warn you that, even when FreeBSD is configured in this
way, it does not completely comply with the Internet standard requirements
for routers; however, it comes close enough for ordinary usage."

Would anybody care to list where FreeBSD packet forwarding/gateway/router
function does not comply with Internet standard requirements?

What are the kinds of routing roles and chores that should not be assigned
to FreeBSD?

tia,
Len
