Some public-facing data structures have changed that may affect
statistics reported until you recompile programs (like ifconfig).
Drivers will likewise need rebuilding.
Ideally this stuff would be hidden behind proper KPI's and be
transparent to user apps. If someone is interested in working on that
please contact me.
