Hello,

When I boot FreeBSD 4.3 on a Shuttle SS50 machine I get the following =
error messages:

/kernel: Mounting root from ufs:/dev/ad0s1a
/kernel: ad0s1a: UDMA ICRC error writing fsbn 3775 of 1856-1857 (ad0s1 =
bn 3775; cn 0 tn 59 sn 58) retrying
last message repeated 2 times
/kernel: ad0s1a: UDMA ICRC error writing fsbn 3775 of 1856-1857 (ad0s1 =
bn 3775; cn 0 tn 59 sn 58) falling back to PIO mode

How critical are these, and if so, how can I get rid of them? I disabled =
UDMA in the BIOS setup...

Thanks,

Maurice
