Anyone know if 8 will finally provide high resolution modes (including widescreen) for the console? Perhaps using a framebuffer like linux which allows native LCD resolutions instead of the old archaic 80x25 text modes? I don't install X and everything is done in the system consoles. This would be nice in 1386/AMD64.
