Greg, Gerald,

I am concerned about a bootstrapping issue then.

If I understand my Tinderbox behavior and the Makefiles correctly,  all
JDKs rely on diablo-jdk* for bootstrapping,  so that Java-enabled GCC is
the only Java compiler in ports that doesn't require click-through
licenses and manual fetches.  I'd be a pity to lose that.
