Folks, Anyone interested in the SGML tools in ports/textproc should probably take a look at the thread in comp.text.sgml with the subject line: RFC: Proposal for directory structure standard I also recommend interested parties subscribe to the SGML Tools mailing list (URL:http://www.xs4all.nl/~cg/sgmltools/) and follow the discussions in there. SGML Tools v2.0 will consist of a framework around things like Jade, DocBook, PSGML and so on, along with associated user guides and tutorials, exactly the sort of thing we don't currently have (but badly need). My involvement has been severely curtailed over the past two weeks due to continuing RSI (pain in my hands which makes any typing difficult), and I think it's important that someone follow the discussions and provide a FreeBSD point of view where necessary.
