Can someone confirm these steps as the best way to attempt to get back to a 8.1 kernel I originally installed... 1. update my tag line to 8_1 2. update my source tree 3. run 'make world' I have backup already. I ask because in the handbook it says 'Do not use make world'... http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/makeworld.html I was going to just rebuild the kernel with the proper source tree. -- Robert
