On our 7.3 and 8.1 boxes, I've had to disable DMA in the BIOS and via /boot/loader.conf in order to successfully boot off 2 GB and 4 GB CompactFlash cards, in CF-to-IDE and CF-to-SATA adapters. -- Freddie Cash fjwcash@gmail.com
