As a user of a Netgear FA-410TXC which uses the dc driver, I've been
waiting to see a confirmation that the existing problem as reported by
various people has been fixed, but with the release almost here I've still
not anything positive.

Stephen McKay provided a patch to address a problem with dc, but according
to Perry Glen, this didn't stop his system booting without a working
interface.

Does anyone have an update to the dc "failed to force tx and rx to idle
state" problem which stops systems booting with a working interface?

Conversely is anyone running recent code with dc working perfectly. How
about specifically with a Netgear FA-410TXC or Linksys FA-310TX?

I'm happy to help testing, but don't have a lot of time to offer.
