The following reply was made to PR ports/30050; it has been noted by GNATS. From: The Anarcat <anarcat@anarcat.dyndns.org> To: freebsd-gnats-submit@FreeBSD.org Cc: Subject: Re: ports/30050: New port: audio/ecawave Date: Wed, 5 Sep 2001 14:28:35 -0400 --CE+1k2dSO48ffgeK Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable I know ecawave has some problems, I submitted this particular one (which is one issue, btw) to the program's authors. I expect to receive some feedback on this issue eventually or fix it myself.=20 The point here is to have it in the ports system so that people can start hacking on it. A. Trevor Johnson said: When I run this application, it shows the message = =20 = =20 Warning! Can't access temporary directory /tmp/ecawave-trevor. = =20 Ecawave may not work properly. = =20 = =20 even after I created the directory. When I load in a RIFF file and use =20 the Copy function, ecawave consistently segfaults. I have FreeBSD = =20 4.3-STABLE from 27 May, Qt 2.3, and ecasound 2.0.2 on i386. = =20 --CE+1k2dSO48ffgeK Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (FreeBSD) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iEYEARECAAYFAjuWbtIACgkQttcWHAnWiGf2PACeKrTXJzzTlO/m13FQ1nF+SLnk USkAn0KLdj3fkqFO4Bkhm0Xf2essxSWl =H3ym -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --CE+1k2dSO48ffgeK-- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-ports" in the body of the message
