Whenever closed, there is a 'zombie' process remaining. LibreOffice 3.3.0_3 crashes on simple Excel (Office 2003) spreadsheets created in Excel 2003 or saved by OpenOffice 3.2.1 as .xls files. OO 3.2.1 opens those files without problems, LibreOffice 3.3.0_3 immediately dies without any sign of error and renders itself unusable for the task working with .xls files. >How-To-Repeat: Try opening .xls files created by OO 3.2.1 or Excel 2003/2007. Quit LibreOffice the regular way and watch your process list for a zombie-remnant called 'soffice'. >Fix: >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted:
