Sorry to bug you, but what is the problem with: http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=ports/55866 and http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=ports/54254 They are not a great improvement, but at least we can use autoconf 2.5.7 in a portable way and libtool 1.3 is installing libraries correctly.
