running the install on a Dell XP4100C, but not installing (its not mine)
the <ESC> to shell does not work.  rather it escapes from the current 
menu to the next one up in the hierarchy.

details:

boot.flp as of Jun  2 03:29
cksum boot.flp gives 2402788656 1228800

dell latitude xp4100c attached to docking station
scsi rom bios 9c50/950 v8.41 future domain corp.     (supported??)
no scsi devices

wdc0 disk is st9385ag 325mb 934/14/51 (c/h/s) 512bytes/sec

boot pause at least 2 minutes after mcd1 probe printout
<space> continues boot/probe sequence

later boots done with '-c' and 'dis mcd0; dis mcd1; dis matcd'

Bios basemem (638K) != RTC basemem (640K)

486dx4 100 id=0x480 stepping=0  
features=0x3 (FPU,VME)				VME?? in a laptop? ;)

devices found:

wdc0

has smc9000 ethernet at irq 10 and port 300 in the docking station (ed
driver??)

a XP4100D  (yes D not C, newer model) can be ordered easily here.  so i am 
tempted to get one.
