I was on the verge of purchasing the HP 4020i cd-r, but discovered that
my main retailer has stopped stocking the drive, and replaced it with
the 6020i drive which is a 6x read, 2x write instead. Does anyone know
if this drive is hardware compatible (or more to the point, FreeBSD
compatible?) with the 4020i? I'd like to go ahead and purchase it
(although it is $100 more..) Also, if anyone knows a company still
carrying the 4020i for < $500?

Thanks :)

Robert Watson
