I have a simliar problem if I'm in XFree86-4 with the mouse working fine, and then switch to a console (ctrl-alt-Fx), and then back into X. The mouse just hangs. I can re-get control of the mouse by restarting the Xserver (in xdm, ctrl-alt-backspace). My mouse settings from /etc/X11/XF86Config: Section "InputDevice" Identifier "Mouse0" Driver "mouse" Option "Protocol" "Auto" Option "Device" "/dev/mouse" EndSection My mouse is PS/2. -- Frank Tobin http://www.uiuc.edu/~ftobin/ To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
