I did the following: 1) pkg_delete -dfv xfce4-settings\* I then reinstalled the port. I followed the same procedure with "xfce4-panel" and "libICE" I rebooted the system and all is well (at least right now). I have no idea what the problem is (was); however, one of those three programs was obviously broken. -- Carmel carmel_ny@hotmail.com
