Hi,

I've been told by informed sources that your problem might be
related to Font AntiAliasing. This info come from Lauri Watts
from the FreeBSD KDE Team.

Both DRI and Xft use X RENDER extension.
Konsole has had some problems currently with fonts.

Try using another font in konsole, *not* a vector font,
pick something like lucida console or neep.
Furthermore, I was told that you should try running
'fc-cache -fv' a few times too.
I apologize but I cannot be of much help here. :(

	Regards,
