So it looks like ZFS gets two streams, an oracle one and an opensource 
one, where zfs version 28 a prior can be used by both solaris and the 
opensource versions, after that, they become incompatible.
what does this mean if oracle releases version 30 or 31 in to the wild.
If FreeBSD and illumos go along, it will be much more difficult to 
implement these version.
New patches can conflict and so on.

Or is it time to say goodby to the oracle stream of ZFS and go our own 
way and never look back, even if oracle releases new versions.
To bad oracle chooses this path.
