Remembering back to my beginner days with UNIX, I lost a couple of drives
that I was sharing between win3.11 and FBSD.  I would (in light of my
experience) recommend that you go to Comp USA where they sell 15 gig IDE
drives for 99.95 and get one of those and keep FBSD away from your windows
drive.
