Is there a sharename called 'd' on this other machine or are you assuming that drive D: should be interpreted as 'd'?? shlight //servername/sharename/mount_point=20 That is what I use for mapping a Windows 9x drive. For a Windows box like NT, I guess you have to supply those details like username & passwd . It's never been complicated for Win9x - just press RETURN when it asks for a passwd.
