Funnily enough, IPC:Sharelite compiles fine on the threaded Perl; the unthread one core dumps in the test (and usage), as mentioned in the above article. I really need IPC:Sharelite to work on both versions. BTW, when I was on Freebsd 4.7. way back when, the same thing occured: worked on thread-enabled Perl, but not on regular one. Very weird. - Mark
