Hey, I'm fine with finishing this work to its bitter end. I just need to get some clear and concise guidance and some final specifications from someone. E.g. Do XYZ, that's what we need, period. It looks like this thread has served to specify exactly that. Indeed, this can be a security issue in that local users can crash the machine. Something like this, while perhaps not applicable for a security advisory, is certainly valid for errata. It's a pretty big issue for anybody running with linux compat. --Devon
