Forgot to mention:  If you have seen occasional deadlocks in current with
processes in the 'allproc' wait channel (i.e., system seems to freeze, but you
can drop into ddb, and you find that the clock swi is stuck in 'allproc') try
today's current and see if this fixes it.  Note that you want my later fix for
the race condition in witness as well, as this deadlock only occurred on SMP
boxes, at least that I've heard.
