Last night RhodiumToad (Freenode) was looking at the environment I was getting, and suggested that I needed to run cap_mkdb after changing login.conf. I was changing the shell script as Tatsuki suggested, but I now suspect that that script only runs on jail creation, so I didn't actually have cap_mkdb run after all, and the raw data sitting in login.conf didn't matter. So, I didn't follow your advice as completely as I ought to have, by dint of not understanding that the script doesn't run on every (bulk) build. I'll report back later today with results, and I'll take a scrape through to see what else hardcodes /usr/local. One such place might be rescue binaries, based on some of my grepping around last night. I'll see if I can do a more thorough search once I've gotten the builds working. --=20 Mason Loring Bliss (( "In the drowsy dark cave of the mind dreams mason@blisses.org )) build their nest with fragments dropped http://blisses.org/ (( from day's caravan." - Rabindranath Tagore --Kuk/n493crKO4rgR Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQIzBAABCgAdFiEEEXtBZz1axB5rEDCEnrJXcHbvJVUFAl+pVPYACgkQnrJXcHbv JVXLCRAAvtumL/fA32kaHkayYss3zOiLb+VdGeYVFWo9atnByIlGHDTLUTLgk7c3 3yJBLgWMHBqa2FOI4WQDwZFHscMMCARDQh98MvPx3irh37S8kCueuJ0Rq5KTo0mm Rtamkqe7c8DDeoQ6XsyUpBSSxEuJJbqsBhaCzlqKkngnBUexMvWl0N5HFQ1iRVST 9T2SfUURrqhea9AzVwGo47hUmDSYBbGczUV+flu1TH0J04EuCN2nFSIxGLTKn6eQ nIrLdr0g8SXZrN1zOsPmY7jsconpE6lFznowr86apgfcZfLUgx7fnL/e4cU5HWFK sKtY9o1uDsbruao9+jCV0MynoCAAhM/X6I+4itMNRZAbjIOFVCR3torIhPUHJkfI r0wnUiKwy/Cw4L5sOfCBNJ86u59NZw1+iLgx4TGg91t9YQJLVMwarML3xhayEmJ2 gG6WThZhB0rakmiU8RfXlZvhSCs5o8LrYCc0aa7WBKTTMHT9GyNGWAWQMpkIE/t5 LwSLYx21zOd2TrR9lBpEuPP7M0L7lWa94gcjSB7XkPKctBzF7jmKu0cdKknB4DmQ QGFEulntXXDFcN3+RN8MOasdxclJHTiw1cwzJeIIBgYOKbdBT171SUuTXhHZ6Ohe B8m1EcFQ1YmWLE1t0nfa5SELGH3AJ2SFUhRanW4RVOFwHeTePuo= =SySf -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --Kuk/n493crKO4rgR--
