Kernel panic happens if i connect an usbdrive ( acer or samsung ) to the port and with a logitech communicate stx webcam ( using it with spca5xx form ports )too. There are no problems if the hardware is attached before booting the system. But i cannot attach them during a BSD session.

My Hardware:

1 Gb Memory
Intel 865 chipset
CPU Pentium 640 ( Pentium 4/3.2GHz/Hyperthreading/2Mb L2Cache)
