Let's see. The FreeBSD 4.4 release date is set to 2001-08-20. If
everything goes well, I'll be running 5.6.1 installed by make world on
my -current box this coming Sunday. Then there will be at least a week
before it hits -current: such a change requires a thorough review
process, and a lot of testing. So this gives us 2001-07-15 as the
optimistically set date for 5.6.1 in -current. This kind of change must
not be MFC'ed too quickly - there should be at least one month of
testing in -current. Then we are five days before the 4.4 release date
- and I will be shot if I put it in -stable this close to release. So
the answer is no.

That's correct.

Yeah. I'll do the port tonight or tomorrow.

Cheers,
&Anton.
