In nitpick mode:
1. Indeed an interesting observation is that surnames also work for @freebsd.org
   aliases (why/how) ?
2. This port is currently unmaintained (I did maintain it at one point
in the past).
   I do have a virtual 7.4-RC1 box with USB throughput, but not the
other hardware
   described in this PR. So maybe it is better to pass it to someone else?
