Please attach the output of `dmesg` after you try it with radeon. The words "Failed to load kernel module for pci:0000:00:01.0: Exec format error" mostly look like a problem with loading a kernel module. You don't need to preload any modules from `loader.conf` - Xorg will try load everything it would need anyway. And `dmesg` will show what goes on when modules are initialized. > Is my CPU/APU supported for the ati or radeon driver (even if not full > 3D) ? The wiki implies not, but doesn't specifically mention my combo, > so I ask. TIA & have a good one. Well yes, wiki states that it's not supported. On the other hand wiki mentions the full list of what you can provide to check what was the problem for those devices: https://wiki.freebsd.org/Graphics#Reporting -- Sphinx of black quartz judge my vow.
