A search of # the mailing list archives and the handbook didn't turn up anything. According to the 4.3-RELEASE release notes: 3ware Escalade ATA RAID controllers. All members of the 5000, 6000, and 7000 series are supported. There are probably more ATA RAID controllers that are supported, but I've only recommended 3ware RAID controllers thus far (for IDE RAID controllers that is). Adaptec lists FreeBSD as supported Operating Systems for their ATA RAID 2400A controller. The cheaper ATA RAID 1200A seems to be a Windows-only controller in terms of official support. -- Linh Pham [lplist@closedsrc.org] // 404b - Brain not found To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
